Coinbase proposes to launch a subscription service that will allow users to trade commission-free with a subscription

Coinbase (NASDAQ:COIN) is testing a subscription service that allows users to trade commission-free on the largest U.S. cryptocurrency exchange, meaning they pay no commission for each cryptocurrency transaction.

It is understood that customers subscribing to the service will still need to pay a spread fee for cryptocurrency sales and purchases. Prior to subscribing to the service, Coinbase customers would still be required to pay trading commissions and spread fees, and the company is not disclosing the exact cost of the subscription at this time.
